Task Force: Organisation & Statutes

Description: The TF Organisation and Statutes will focus mainly on the reform of the statutes and rules of procedures of JEF Europe by involving all the national sections to discuss, bring in ideas and find a consensus how JEF Europe should work in the future. Moreover, it will work on improving the internal communication culture by introducing modern communication tools and developing ideas on how internal debates should be structured, by introducing ideas on how the statutory meetings can be hold more efficiently and pleasantly as well as gathering techniques how to involve more the local, regional and national Jeffers to political debates.
Outcomes and deliverables:
● Review and reform of the Statutes and Rules of Procedures
● To bring closer the statutes and rules of procedures to members of JEF in general
● Closer cooperation with the secretariat in regards to the events calendar
● Generally, improve the functioning and efficiency of JEF
● Cooperation with TF Capacity Building on seminar for FC new members
The work in the TF Organisation & Statues will be conducted through the official Facebook group, through a collaborative work on Google Docs as well as via monthly Skype calls. The main source of information for sections about the latest changes will be the Facebook group. By appointing single point of contacts each national section the communication and discussion of the Statutes and RoP should be conducted smoothly.
Resources and Requirements:
The TF Organisation and Statutes is looking for individuals having experience with organisational development or are interested in collaborating with different European sections of JEF to work on the ground rules and the “law” of JEF Europe. The ideal size of the core team of the TF would be around 4-6 members.
Teamwork, working in a large organisation and consulting different organs, analytical and innovative thinking, insight in technical solutions for the management of large organisations as well as training of conflict management skills.
