About the event
This event is the final activity of the Work Plan that JEF Europe implemented throughout 2019. Through this project, more than 20 educational activities on local and national levels have been implemented with young people all around Europe. The final conference will be an opportunity to present the tools, educational plans and campaign materials that were created during these activities.
The conference will take place in Brussels between 4-7 December, gathering around 100 youth activists and stakeholders coming from all around Europe. The participants will be young people that during the whole year acted as multipliers on the local/national level while implementing educational activities tackling media literacy, critical thinking and European Citizenship.

The specific objectives are:
- To evaluate the different activities and the different outputs of the project.
- To offer space for discussion between young people and political stakeholders on the topic of the work plan to encourage political uptake of the topic by decision-makers
- To celebrate the success of the implementation of Faker Fighters and plan future activities tackling similar topics.
The conference will be facilitated by experienced facilitators affiliated with JEF and proficient in the use of non-formal education with the aim to create space for continuous participation and tailor the sessions to the needs of participants.
Who is eligible to apply?
Young people, youth activists, youth policy-makers and stakeholders in the field from all Council of Europe member-states.
Young people who were involved in the activities of JEF Europe on media literacy and critical thinking throughout 2019 are especially invited to apply.

- 80% of the travel costs (up to 100€)
- JEF Europe will only issue travel reimbursement by bank transfer and upon presentation of all original documents after the end of the training.
Important: Please don’t book your ticket until you receive an email confirmation regarding your selection.
Cancellation policy: Participants who have been confirmed but cancel their participation before 1 December will be requested to cover 50% of their participation costs back. Cancellations after this date will request 100% coverage of participation costs.
Participation in all sessions is compulsory; in the case of absence, JEF Europe may apply a penalty on the travel reimbursement.
JEF Europe will assist in visa procedures if needed. Participants requiring a visa to Serbia are requested to complete the dedicated question in the application form. In case you need an invitation letter please contact us at email@example.com
